By mastering the universal essential of healthy skin—deep, restorative moisture—we formulate simple, gentle products that work for every skin type. Oh, and we went ahead and made our packaging just as cheerful as our ethos—because skincare should be fun, easy, and for everyone.
The Brand
OBJECTIVE
To create a standout identity for a moisture-first skincare brand that rejects insecurity marketing in favor of joy. The brief required balancing two opposing needs: capturing a broad audience while maintaining a distinct, playful personality. The primary objective was to move away from medicinal cues and create an 'aesthetic-first' packaging system—transforming routine skincare products into counter-worthy objects that bring visual joy to the user’s space.
OUTCOME
Salad Days launched with an identity deeply rooted in joy and storytelling. I embraced a playful, glittery, colourful and sticker-covered aesthetic that invites interaction, combined with copy overflowing with positive affirmations. The result is a packaging suite that feels less like a routine and more like a treat—effectively engaging the fleeting attention span of Gen Z consumers and tapping into the nostalgic desire for simplicity and fun in older demographics.
